Legacy Youth Care is an independent Ofsted-registered provider of residential care, situated in the heart of Newcastle Upon Tyne.

 

Driven by a passion for making a difference, Legacy Youth Care delivers round-the-clock trauma-informed and PTSD-informed care for vulnerable children and young people aged 7 to 17 years of age, of all sexes, helping them build brighter future.

Standing side-by-side, shoulder-to-shoulder, and step-by-step with the vulnerable young people we serve, we foster an environment defined by discipline, structure, and a thriving, child-centred atmosphere. Every young person is given the professional support they deserve through a practice grounded in holistic, humanistic, person-centred, and positive therapeutic and behavioural approaches.

We have a skilled team of clinicians (paediatric psychiatrists, child psychologists, and play therapists) that work together with us to empower children and young people with autism, ADHD, mental health conditions, attachment disorders, and complex learning needs to thrive.

Our primary objective is to instil positive values, provide hope, and empower young people to dream big, be curious, and build the confidence needed to navigate the diverse aspects of life. We are dedicated to enhancing children's well-being, health, and education.
